Department of Health (Victorian Government)

Lucid Virtual Solutions and MindAtlas have developed an end-to-end NDIS learning solution for Mental Health Clinicians.

About the Department of Health

The Department of Health delivers policies, programs and services that support and enhance the health and wellbeing of all Victorians.

The department’s service areas include:

  • Hospitals and health services
  • Primary and community health
  • Public health
  • Mental health
  • Alcohol and drugs services
  • Ageing and aged care services

The Department of Health required the delivery of two key products that assist Victoria’s specialist clinical mental health workforce in acquiring the skills and knowledge to support consumers and their carers to access and effectively participate in the NDIS. Lucid built an end-to-end solution that allowed mental health clinicians to support consumers to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Delivering a multi-faceted solution

This solution involved the development of a Learning Management System (LMS) portal, face to face training materials (that training staff at mental health service providers can use), and self-page elearning modules for mental health clinicians.

Project deliverables included:

  • Face to face training resources development
  • Pilot and reporting on face-to-face training resources
  • Development of elearning modules
  • Learning Management System implementation
  • Pilot and reporting on elearning modules
  • Ongoing support and maintenance
  • Annual hosting

Below are some samples of what we delivered.
