About the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS)
The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) delivers high-quality services to Victorians and supports a safe, just, innovative and thriving Victoria. The department employs more than 27,000 staff and is supported by around 90,000 volunteers in the Country Fire Authority, Victoria State Emergency Service, Office of the Public Advocate and other bodies.
The vision of the department is for a justice and community safety system that works together to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.
The department was looking for an elearning development company to support the development of a 20-minute Introduction to Family Violence elearning module that could be deployed via their Learning Management System to raise awareness of family violence with all staff.
Developing the Introduction to Family Violence elearning module
Lucid Virtual Solutions developed an introduction learning module to raise awareness on the dynamics, risk indicator and impacts of family violence. This module included a live video filming session where we interviewed family violence victim-survivors.
To complement the interview videos, we blended infographics and similar illustrations to tie the module together with a consistent theme.
The Lucid team have worked with many state government departments to deliver similar learning solutions.
